I usually pay for my wife and her friends to go out on her birthday, but this year I wanted us to do something together. My wife likes experiences more than things. So I decided to book an escape room for us to try. I wasn’t sure my wife would like the idea but as soon as we were locked in that room she and I got lost in the story and the challenge. We drove a long way to Reseda but it was more than with the drive. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! We are definitely coming back to Theme Quest to try another room. The rate was reasonable, though I world have paid twice as much for that experience. The staff (Jordana and her husband) was wonderful. We didn’t have a long wait. EXCELLENT PLACE!!

I can now say that I have successfully completed all of the rooms here at Architect! We started with Houdini then did, Orient, and finally Bonnie and Clyde. I have enjoyed each and every one of their rooms!
I would recommend this place to beginners and enthusiasts! The staff is super friendly and attentive! The waiting area is comfy and even stocked with refreshments, and if you’re lucky: Magic tricks!

Highly recommend! Awesome experience! Appropriate for players of all skill levels. Staff was courteous and engaging. We had such a great time completing the first room (bonnie and clyde) that we decided to stay and do another room that same night (orient express). My boyfriend and I purchased the Orient Express Room- we had such a great time here! The gamemaster, Josh, was very kind to us and I could tell that he is passionate about providing the best experience for the customers. With just us two, we ended up completing the room with 6min remaining. I would say the difficulty was about 7/10 (10 being the most difficult). It would have been nice to have a timer to see how much remaining time we had to complete the room. Other than that, I totally recommend coming here!

Wow! So I played my 125th escape room in Orient Express with one other person. …I LOVE how everything made sense and was purposeful. The puzzles were beautifully logical. I can see seasoned players and newbies having a fun time here! Looking forward to checking out their other rooms. Also their lobby was so relaxing and it set the mood. Oreint Express at Architect was a perfect choice. There were many puzzles to solve and an engaging storyline….no blood, no guts, no screams or ghosts. We found ourselves in a very elaborately adorned dining car aboard the famous train. Our task was to assemble the clues and help solve the crime that had taken place earlier that evening. We loved the fact that we were guaranteed the room to our private little group. Architect Escape Rooms was well done and we would definitely consider going back to try Houdini or Bonnie and Clyde rooms.

I can finally say that I’ve conquered and escaped all of the rooms at Architect!! It’s hard to pick a favorite room here because they are all so different and unique! We loved the creativity of Bonnie and Clyde, the detail of Orient Express, and the overall experience of Houdini. The staff is very helpful and always in such great moods. This was my first time attempting an escape room and I loved it. My family and I had a great time. We were in the Bonnie and Clyde room and we barely escaped. It makes you think differently and we had to use all of the clues to get out. Josh was great, he explained the game and rules and was there to give us clues when we needed them. We were SO happy that we drove an hour out to come here 🙂 Service & Staff – The staff are amazing and the service is top-notch! One of the best escape rooms I’ve been to! The staff is super friendly. Right when you walk in they offer complimentary coffee, espresso and hot chocolate. We did the Bonnie and Clyde room and they had very thoughtful clues and great decor. Can’t wait to go back!

We did our first escape room ever here in the Bonnie and Clyde room and it was a fantastic experience! All of the props and clues were so well thought out and it definitely got more challenging the closer you got to escaping. They have a maximum of 3 clues you can receive during the game which helps when you’re very new, or get stuck. Overall, it was a great experience, and after looking and researching many other escape rooms closer to me, this is the only one I really want to go back to.

Took my 2 kids and 2 friends (ages 12-14) to the Bonnie & Clyde room today, and everyone had a great time! Our GM met us at the street entrance and escorted us down a dark corridor to their lounge. The had complimentary refreshments, and I hear that sometimes they have magic tricks while people are waiting (forgot to ask when…). The room was a lot of fun, and our GM was great. There were several puzzles with creative use of the props and storyline. It helped that our game master had told us at the beginning that asking for clarification on whether something was allowed would not constitute using up one of our clues, as some our hesitation points involved types of activity we had never done before in other escape rooms (which was actually really cool!) The kids loved that the individual players were embedded into solving one of the clues. Family friendly, we made it out with a group of 5 with 4 kids (including 2 who had never done an escape room before but are now hooked!) with 7 minutes to spare, not scary, and still challenging enough to not be a “kids” venue. Would definitely recommend!

Great for all ages and skill levels. We did Orient Express with several adults and kids and everyone had a blast. Fun story, nicely themed room, and the puzzles were well-balanced with something for everyone. Interestingly, there’s 2 parts to this room, escaping as well as solving a Whodunnit. Definitely want to come back to try the other rooms!

Update- just did their Houdini room and LOVED it! It was super challenging. We are escape room veterans by now and we had to use all of our 3 hints, but we did escape with about 7 minutes to spare. I love that nothing in these rooms feels like a huge leap. Even when you get stuck and get a clue, you immediately go “Oh! How did I not get that?!” It’s also great that they have multiple things you can be solving or working on at once so that everyone is always occupied. And this time we got magic tricks in the lobby. Seriously, the staff here is the best. Definitely recommend! Can’t wait to go back and do Bonnie and Clyde!

Really happy that this place opened especially that it’s down the street from my house. My boyfriend and I love doing rooms just to kill time, we booked the Bonnie and Clyde room and it was great !! Puzzles were fun, original and creative. We loved it so much that we did another room after escaping Bonnie and Clyde. We did the orient express and we loved it and of course escaped that one too. The staff and owner was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The Houdini room was quite challenging, we escaped with just under 2 minutes left. The staff here is very friendly, and this place is just going to get better as they add more rooms, we are definitely coming back to do the Orient Express room. Also, very easy street parking, and we were treated to some magic from one of the GMs!

We had a really great time at Architect! 🙂 My friend and I were able to try this place out for the first time thanks to finding them on Groupon. We were interested in a private game room experience, because we’re both a little socially awkward and prefer working with each other rather than trying to yell over strangers about finding various clues. Architect provides private game experiences even if your group is as small as 2, so it was perfect for us! We were both first timers when it came to Escape Rooms, but the host explained everything very clearly and was even more helpful with the few hints provided as we attempted to beat the Orient Express! Even though we didn’t make it out in time, we would definitely be back to try again ASAP. On top of that, the host likes to perform magic tricks in the lobby which are just a fun little way to introduce you to Architect. I recommend this place 100%!

Customer service is great, you can be in a room with just your group without paying extra which is the best! I highly recommend this place! The puzzles were challenging and interesting. Loved the Bonnie and Clyde Room the most. They make great use of tech, have innovative puzzles, and create a truly immersive feel in the room.

Our group did the Orient Express room. I have done 25+ rooms and this one easily ranks as one of the best. The decor was amazing and the puzzles were all different and creative. Also, the staff was very friendly and excited for us to be there. They all seemed genuinely invested in the rooms, the business, and the customers. Done two rooms here and have had a blast at both. They’re well done puzzles and themed well. Bonny and Clyde on particular is very unique and fun, haven’t done a room that requires doing some of the things that room required. This is a great hidden place with a great set of rooms that are already being expanded along with a whole addition set of rooms sometime this year.
